Sesame Street

In case you haven’t seen the Google logos for the past week, today is the 40th anniversary of Sesame Street being on TV.  It is just amazing to me.  Everyone that I know watched it growing up and I am sure that my children will do the same.  In honor, I have compiled what surprising little Sesame Street graff there is on the internet.  And even more surprising, most of this is from England or Amsterdam…  Go figure.

Can you tell me how to get, how to get to Sesame Street?

Sebastião Salgado

In my Art Hunt yesterday I found this awesome Photographer, Sebastião Salgado known for his work chronicling the underprivileged from Third World Countries.  His work is black and white, quite haunting and reminds me of Alfred Hitchcock movies, especially the windmill scene from the Foreign Correspondent

Francoise Nielly

I am on an “Art Hunt” today.  Looking for some inspiration and some new artwork to look at.  I re-discovered an old favorite artist: Francoise Nielly.  She is French and has been doing oil & knife work for 20+ years.  Her art is über expressive, colorful and sexually charged- something about how she paints the eyes.  I really loved the stuff she put out in 2005 and 2006, and looking at her folio, I really like everything that she has put out since- it has become even more colorful!  Her recent pieces for her exhibition are titled “Les Diaboliques (The Devils)” and has a gothic/vampire feel to it.
